Privacy policy

This policy explains how the Probs mobile app and the probs.app website process personal data. The data controller is the owner shown as the developer of the app on the App Store and Google Play. Questions: [email protected].

Data we collect

• Account: when you sign in with Apple or Google, a user identifier, the sign-in method and your account's email address (with Apple this may be a hidden relay address). We do not store passwords.
• Subscription: your Pro status, expiry date and purchase records. Payment details stay with Apple and Google; we never receive card details.
• Usage: which pick a free user unlocked that day (one per day).
• Device: your time zone and app language, so day boundaries are correct. If you turn on notifications, a device token to send them.
• Server logs: IP address and request logs, for security and to prevent abuse.

What we don't do

We show no ads, use no advertising or tracking tools, don't sell your data and don't track you across apps.

Why we process it

• To provide the service: sign-in, subscription and the daily free pick (performance of a contract).
• Security: blocking abuse and excessive requests (legitimate interest).
• Legal obligations, such as keeping purchase records.

Who we share it with

Only the providers we use to run the service, under their privacy terms:

• Google Firebase (sign-in and notifications)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Apple and Google (payments and app stores)
• Cloudflare (network and security)
• Hostinger (server hosting)

These providers may process data outside Turkey and the European Union, for example in the US.

How long we keep it

• Account and subscription data: until you delete your account. Purchase records as long as the law requires.
• Server logs: at most 30 days.

Your rights

You can access your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted and object to processing, as granted by GDPR and Turkish data protection law (KVKK). You can delete your account yourself in the app under Profile → Delete account; for other requests write to [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it separately in App Store or Google Play settings.

Age limit

Probs is for people aged 18 and over; we do not knowingly process data of anyone under 18.

Changes

If we update this policy, we publish it on this page and change the date.
